Good News! Dental treatment at Gransha Dental just got even more comfortable with the addition of our iTero Scanner.
At Gransha Dental we are really proud to be one of just a few dentists in Ireland to have invested in a state of the art iTero Scanner. iTero is an intraoral scanner with new digital technology so incredible that it replaces the need for us to do traditional impressions.
Dentists usually make dental impressions by having you hold that tray material in your mouth for a minute or two, sometimes more than once if it didn’t come out right the first time. The impressions are then used for the crown, bridge, night guard, Invisalign, and other treatments. Impressions are messy, uncomfortable, and for many patients it is one of their least favorite parts of a dental visit. The iTero scanner replaces all of that.
